The Dominion is an alliance of planets within the Gamma Quadrant led by the Founders. Races known to have an association with the Dominion include: the Founders, the Vorta, the Jem'Hadar, the Cardassians and the Breen.
Dominion forces engaged in a war for two years with the Federation and its allies in the Alpha Quadrant. That war is known as the Dominion War.
